Tarapoto Treasure Hunt

Undergrowth Collective went on a mission in Tarapoto, the commercial hub town in the northern side of Peru in the region of San Martin. Even if the city is surrounded by the Amazon rainforest, a big part of local children are not completely aware of the green treasure that they hold a few steps from their homes. We have taught through the medium of drawing, the creation of masks, costumes and representations. At the end of the workshops series we held a creative and educative treasure hunt at the animal rescue centre "Centro Urku".
